Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a safety-oriented plant maintenance technician to repair and maintain fabrication shop equipment. Electrical experience and/or education are a must. Candidate should also have experience with preventative maintenance and repair of some or all of the following: overhead crane repair, welding machines, electrical, and forklift repair. The Ideal candidate must have the ability to organize and maintain maintenance inventory items as well as develop and adhere to a preventative maintenance schedule.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct routine and special inspections as required
Perform preventive maintenance on all shop equipment
Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service manuals, and other specifications to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components
Maintain repair logs, documenting all preventive and corrective maintenance
Account for all parts, materials, tools and consumables used as required
Work safely in accordance with company safety rules and procedures at all times including keeping your work area clean and orderly
Job Requirements:
Solid foundation of mechanical aptitude and ability, with knowledge of industrial electricity, hydraulic, and diesel engines.
Working knowledge of hydraulics preferred
Experienced only need apply. This is not an entry-level position.
Experience:
Maintenance: 2 years (Preferred)
Industrial electrician: 2 years (Preferred)
Pay Range:
Starting at $27/hr, depending on experience
Must have a clean background and be able to pass a drug screen.
